Darren Udaiyan was born in India. His upbringing was in a form of Dravidian Hinduism called Aayyanism. As well as painting and creating comic strips, he also makes short films designed to be posted on the web. He founded the Cambridge Stuckists group in 2003, and was exhibited at the Stuckism International Gallery in Shoreditch. He participated in the War On Blair show at the gallery in April 2003. He was in An Antidote to the Ghastly Turner Prize (2008), Stuck in Wood Green (2009), and The Stuckists Christmas Sale (2009). He curated The Enemies of Art (2010) in Cambridge, and was featured in the London show of the same name in 2011, which used his title again. His painting Nx2 was featured on the home page of this site.
