The Stuckism International Centre was the home of Stuckism co-founder, Charles Thomson, 2002-2005, and the venue for the Stuckism International Gallery. He used the ground floor and basement as a gallery to display Stuckist paintings. This was not run as a commercial gallery, but was regularly open to the public. There were many educational visits by college groups to the gallery, from the UK, the United States, Norway, Italy and other countries. Much of the work shown then formed The Stuckists Punk Victorian Show at the Walker Art Gallery for the 2004 Liverpool Biennial.

Charles Thomson said, "I put on these displays to establish a prominent Stuckist presence in an area, Shoreditch, where I could reach a lot of people, following the success of shows in commercial galleries such as Gallery 108, the Rivington Gallery and the Pure Gallery in Shoreditch. The Walker Art Gallery show effectively rendered it redundant and took the Stuckists onto a new level of exposure. At the end of the day, it was my home, and I wanted somewhere less stressful to live on a day to day basis. I was also running it on a shoestring, and financially it made sense to get out while I was winning. It was a great experience, and I might even repeat it one day. Who knows?

"The space was designed to fulfil the belief stated in our manifesto that the best space for art is not a white wall gallery but the more human space of a home (or a musty museum). The main space was my living room. It had sofas and normal home lighting, not gallery spotlights, which create a separation between the art the viewer. People could come in, sit down, maybe have a cup of tea and experience the art as part of their environment, if they wanted to. The upstairs walls were either brick or painted maroon, and the downstairs a deep green. It was a small oasis in the greyness of the outside environment, and this point was made to me on many occasions. Some months after I did this, the White Cube put on a Chapman Brothers show with the gallery walls painted deep brown. Then Charles Saatchi decamped from St Johns Wood, condemned white wall galleries and opened up in County Hall. They both lagged slightly behind, I think."
